Saphai Technology Sanitisation for Healthcare Facilities.

21st November 2017

Cleaning Versus Disinfecting.

Healthcare-associated infections (HCAI) affect, on average, 5% of hospitalised patients and 3.6% of patients in long-term care facilities, according to research carried out by the HSE 2016.

There is a critical difference between cleaning and disinfecting, cleaning requires the use of soap and water to remove dirt and some of the germs or bacteria. Disinfecting means actually destroying the germs or bacteria and not just moving them around. Eradicating bacteria has to be the ultimate goal for keeping people healthy. Introducing the Clinimist from Saphai Technology for fast and effective sanitisation for healthcare facilities.

Clinimist

The Clinimist from Saphai Technology achieves this goal, this innovative electrostatic misting device rapidly dispenses disinfectants and is capable of disinfecting a 5m x 5m room or kitchen in less than 10 minutes.

Clinimist

It is hand-held with lithium-ion battery, comes supplied with Log 4 – Log 8 Food Safe disinfectants and provides a complete 3D coverage of objects, e.g. furniture, curtains, work surfaces. Very suitable either as an “intervention” technology or can be incorporated into a daily disinfection routine. For example, an entire hotel kitchen area and work surfaces can be disinfected last thing at night.

The Clinimist electrostatic misting disinfectant application systems deliver 24/7 touchless disinfectant for safer surfaces, lower costs, reduce manpower and helps to keep people healthier. With the Clinimist, users can kill up to 99.999 percent of pathogens when applied as directed with industry recommended chemicals, disinfecting any room in seconds. Very suitable either as an “intervention” technology or can be incorporated into a daily disinfection routine. Also used for decontamination of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical plant and equipment as well as cleanroom disinfection.
